Location
The Club has two locations. The Main Club is located in the town of Locust Valley, a quiet suburban area. The Club is within walking distance of the town and train station. A visit to Manhattan is only one hour by train. Other cities, such as Washington, DC (4 hours) and Boston (3 hours) are accessible as well.
The Beach Club is located on Long Island Sound – three miles north of the Main Club in the Village of Lattingtown.
Staff Information
During the height of our season the Club employs approximately 170 staff to help provide excellent service to the membership. The Club is fortunate to have an award-winning Chef and prides itself on a long tradition of first class food and beverage service.
The Club sponsors various activities throughout the year for the staff, including a welcoming party, baseball game, dinner cruise, holiday party and a Broadway theatre trip.
The loyalty and dedication of Piping Rock Club employees has been a major factor in the success of the Club. We consider our employees to be our most valuable asset. The continued growth and success of Piping Rock Club depends on the attitude and efforts of each employee. Maintaining a reputation for quality, integrity and individualized services at a first class facility is our mission statement.
Under certain considerations, staff housing is available for our staff at no cost. The 43 staff dorm rooms are located on the Main Club grounds.
The Club's workweek begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. All employees are paid weekly on Thursdays.
